Experience Romance

The Experience Romance session is designed for couples who wish to capture fabulous images without the pressure of the wedding day timeline. I will spend 2-4 hours with you either before or after your wedding day at a location of your choosing.

There are many reasons to consider this unique session:
~ My standard package options may be impractical due to time and budget limitations
~ You were less than thrilled with your photographs taken by another photographer and/or guests
~ Maybe you would just like an excuse to wear your wedding gown again!

Whatever your motivation, we promise a fun and relaxing session that will produce amazing images.

The session is $725 and includes a 6x6 Fine Art Album. The bride and groom will dress in their formal wedding attire with no limit on the number of images captured. All images will be accessible via a private, online viewing gallery. The re-touched high resolution files, or prints, may be purchased separately.

Jamie & Bryan

Jamie and Bryan were married June 27th, but they are the first couple to book my brand new Experience Romance session!

Clients book these sessions before or after the actual wedding day so that we can capture amazing images without the usual time constraints.

We'll go to a location of your choosing, and spend a few hours just relaxing and having some fun.

I love this image of Bryan, feels very masculine and strong.

Lovin' the blue sky.

Imagine the kinds of images we can create when we don't have be anywhere!

And not only the time pressure, but now we can also choose the time of day and the lighting.

If you enjoy my wedding day images (when I don't have any control over the time, the dynamics, the lighting), just imagine what I can do outside of those constraints.

We spent the early evening at Hartwood Acres for their session and the weather was perfect.

Shoot to the east and you get the beautiful deep blue sky above. Shoot to the west and you get beautiful golden flare!

And yes, you can expect these sessions to get sexy. VERY sexy. When I am left to my own devices, this is what happens.

I cannot thank Jamie and Bryan enough for spending their evening with us, they were up for anything!

5 Days Old | Pittsburgh Newborn Photographer

This little guy has the cutest blonde hair!

I love how it appears as if he's just kicked back relaxing in his cocoon.

He was so easy to work with, he would curl up in every position and go right back to sleep.

6 Weeks Old - Pittsburgh Newborn Photography

I'm pretty sure this little guy is gonna have blue eyes!

I don't consider a 6 week old baby a newborn, but his mommy is the sister of a friend so I thought I would give it a try. He did beautifully.

And the best part? At this age they really start to fill out, and I.can't.take.it.

He did so well, and really only got upset once... and I'm pretty sure I know what the problem was. And once his bladder was empty, he was back to himself.

5 Day Old Newborn | Pittsburgh Newborn Photographer

Finally, a new baby girl! Look at her with those fingers in her mouth, it's sometimes impossible to find words, they are just too cute.

Oh.my.sweetness. This angel was about 3 weeks early and weighed just six pounds.

My cocoon engulfed her.

Her fabulous mommy, looking better than ever.

So tiny.

You may recognize Frankie's older brother Luca, I photographed his life session in 2007 when he was just a year old. They grow so quickly! But he and I reconnected as if time had never passed.

Kristen & Steven

Heather, I started looking at our pictures earlier this morning and its taken me this long to gather all of my emotions together because I was completely blown away by your ability to capture such amazing pictures! The pictures are absolutely breath taking and looking through them helped me completely re-live our wedding day! I can't thank you enough for being apart of our wedding, choosing you as a photographer was by far the best decision we could have made throughout out the entire wedding process. You have such a gift and such a talent and I can't wait to recommend you to all of my friends! Thank you again for helping make our wedding the happiest day of our lives.

10 Day Old Newborn | Pittsburgh Newborn Photographer

The lips of this sweet little baby boy belong to WTAE News Reporter Janelle Hall and her husband Casey.

Janelle is GORGEOUS, I love her eyes.

I was surprised to see such a little guy so quiet and so alert.

One of my favorite new hats.

Snuggled up with his mommy, so sweet.

Shosh & Marc

Shosh and Marc were married, and held their reception, at Westmoreland Country Club. Isn't she a beautiful bride?!?!

Shosh is very close with her family and I captured this image as her dad saw her for the first time.

Shosh's mom made the chuppah out of handkerchiefs from the mother's, grandmother's and great-grandmother's of both Shosh and Marc.

I LOVE this image Craig captured of Shosh just before walking down the aisle. Feels very serene.

Another tender moment with dad before walking down the aisle.

And this is Marc and his dad, taken almost at the exact same time as the image above. Thank goodness there were three of us covering the day because there was a lot going on!

They didn't see each other all weekend, so it was pretty amazing when they were finally able to embrace.

These two looked so happy as they walked down the aisle, I love the way she is looking at him.

We had just a few moments between the ceremony and the reception.

Caught the last moments of the beautiful evening light.

The introduction, along with the first set of dancing, was very high energy!

Shosh and Marc had a blast with their first dance, it was so much fun to watch.
