I love the textures, but agree with you that most folks would probably think less is more. I especially like the second one! Check out www.theimageisfound.com I read their blog alot and they use ALOT of texture and people seem to go nuts about it.
Also, i wanted to email you with some photog to photog questions and see if you could give me some ideas. Is that ok?
I will probably only use these textures on a very limited number of images, but I thought it was fun to play.
