Jen & Ryan - Engagement
Had an awesome time with Jen and Ryan at Phipps Conservatory on Monday. It was really nice because there were only a few people there, we basically had the place to ourselves!
I love brick and I love archways, so this was a good location for me!
Ryan was awesome, I didn't have to ask him to have fun, he just made the moments happen.
It was a little chilly outside, but nothing we couldn't handle. At least they had each other, my cameras did nothing for me!
Found a pile of leaves at the Cathedral of Learning, and luckily it wasn't wet underneath.
Jen and Ryan will be married May 5th at Heinz Chapel in Oakland.

Jessie & Chris
Jessie and Chris were married at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Morgantown, and held their reception at Historic Clarion Hotel Morgan.
Their ceremony was the most spiritual, moving, emotional ceremony I have ever witnessed. There was laughter...
And there were tears...

I just can't get over the vibrant colors, it was gorgeous!

Kristie & Wes
Kristie and Wes were married at St. Michaels Church in Elizabeth and held their reception at The Willow Room in Belle Vernon.
Autumn is my favorite time of year, and I'm was thrilled that the colors were so vibrant this weekend.

I'm not sure what Kristie was thinking... probably something like... "I can't believe I'm laying on the freezing cold ground". But she was awesome, her and Wes were up for anything.
This shot was totally worth any amount of discomfort. :))
I think this is funny because Kristie's sister saw me shooting this and said that it looked like I killed them. Image by Craig.
Here is the resulting shot.
I joined the bridal party in the limo on the way to the reception and caught the sun set through the back window.
I loved their favors, and thought that they would make a good prop for the rings.

FYI
I will be out of town this weekend shooting two weddings. I consider it an honor whenever anyone hires me to photograph the most important day of their lives, but especially so for Friday weddings. Because Friday's are not as popular, couples could hire anyone they wanted as vendors are more available. The fact that they choose me is overwhelming. To all of my Friday couples, you guys are awesome!!

Carly & Erik
Carly and Erik were married at West Hempfield Presbyterian Church in Irwin, and held their reception at Stratigos Banquet Centre.
Two things happened when I arrived at Carly's house... 1) I was greeted by the most welcoming gracious family, and 2) I saw this image of her parents on their wedding day. I took a picture because I thought it would be fun to re-create the pose with Carly and Erik.
This isn't a typical pose for me, but I'm very sentimental and thought it would be nice for her parents. It also turns out that the same pastor that married Carly and Erik also married her parents.
Another Saturday, another bride on the ground... love it!

I'm normally not a fan of splotchy sunlight, but in this instance it really worked in my favor.
First dance.
The reception was a blast, the dance floor was packed thanks to a great crowd and a fabulous DJ.

Caroline & Matt - Engagement
Had an awesome e-session with Caroline and Matt on Friday in Oakland. We started at Phipps Conservatory and made our way around the Pitt campus. The weather was amazing, it was clear and beautiful, just a little chilly.
I love shooting into the sun!!
I can't say enough about these two, they were so much fun and easy to shoot.
