I realized that I haven't posted any pictures of the kiddos recently and I thought now would be the perfect time since I didn't have a wedding this past weekend. I didn't schedule as many weddings as usual this year because I knew I would have a new baby to take care of. Evan is 6.5 months old and an absolute angel!I love those blue eyes, he is so sweet! Poor baby has his 6 month shots today, it's always so hard to watch them cry. Especially when they look up at you, as if to say, "why are you letting this happen? Do something!"
Craig and I have been working like crazy on some new initiatives for Weddings by Heather, I hope to be able to show you something later this week!

Congratulations Maggie & Dustin!
Maggie was a bridesmaid a few weeks ago in Kristie & Mike's wedding and she just emailed me with the news that she is newly engaged! How exciting!
Maggie and Dustin will be getting married in June of next year.

Heather & Michael
Heather and Michael were married in the Hall of Architecture at the Carnegie Museum and held their reception in the Music Hall Foyer. This wedding had so many fabulous details, but I really loved Heather's shoes.
Peonies are my favorite flower!
I loved her shoes so much, I had to put the rings on them.I think that this is a very classic portrait of a bride.
The detailing on Heather's dress was gorgeous!I mentioned that peonies were my favorite flower, but right behind them are hydrangea's.
Craig caught this during the ceremony.
Heather's florist did an amazing job, I saw her working before the ceremony and I was really impressed (which is not easy, LOL).
Heather and Michael performed the most amazing first dance I have ever seen.
We were able to sneak outside a few moments before the dancing began.

Cameras for Sale
Canon 40D - Includes box, unopened manuals, battery w/charger and strap. Excellent condition. Purchased in February for $1,218. I actually have two of them, both are for sale, $1,000 each, plus shipping and sales tax.
I used them for a few weddings as back-ups until I realized that I couldn't live without the full frame. I am selling both and will purchase another 5D.
You can click here to purchase, or email me with any questions.

Kristie & Mike
Oh. my. goodness. Kristie has the most captivating eyes, and her veil was also gorgeous.
This shot is obviously from the same series, but I couldn't decide which one I liked better and you know I love details.
Who needs Phipps when you can find locations like this?
I really, really loved her veil.
Two of my favorite things, sushi and big diamond rings. After using the sushi for a prop, I figured I had better eat it. Yummy.
Thanks again to my great friend David Burke for not only shooting with me, but for being my subject when testing light!

Jessica & Mike
I am a Penn State alumni and it was really fun to see how much the campus has changed recently. If you have never been to University Park, it is GORGEOUS. My brother went to Pitt, so of course we had a rivalry, but all I have say is look at the difference in the bus stop shelters. Imagine the bus stops in Oakland, and now look at the one below... beautiful brick and stone with iron benches.
This is my new friend Tina (Jessica's sister and MOH). She loves photography, so we had a lot to talk about!
I just like the way Mike was looking at Jess.
I think I was channeling someone in this picture. LOL
