Sarah & Jordan

Sarah and Jordan were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Linden Hall Mansion in Dawson, PA. They also held their reception in the ballroom.

We had Sarah alone for a few moments before the ceremony and Craig took this killer shot. I LOVE it. Very dramatic and reminds me of a fashion magazine.

Jordan is total GQ, he was great to shoot.

The weather was perfect, sunny and warm.

Saying their vows, image by Craig.

After the ceremony we had 45 minutes of what can only be described as the most amazing light EVER. It was an absolute dream.

I found this pocket of light that was hitting the brick wall just right, so I put Sarah right in the middle of it!

These guys were so much fun, always laughing.

I love hands, they are so expressive.

Can you guess which lens I was using? The 50 1.2 is wonderful!

Future brides should take a lesson from Sarah... she followed my blog and then worked the camera like a pro. She knew from looking at my images what she would like and also how I like to orchestrate moments. I did not ask her to grab his face and kiss him like that, she just did it!

Special thanks to Carly and Erik for referring Sarah and Jordan, we shot their wedding last October. It was great seeing you guys!

Here it is!!

I've received a ton of emails... "let's see that belly!!" And since I am not one to disappoint my clients, I had Craig take a few shots of me the other day. I am 26 weeks (just over 6 months).

I was looking through my blog the other day and came across this picture that Luca took of me during his life session (he was a year old at the time) in March. I cannot believe how much my stomach has grown! I want this one back!

Pittsburgh Weddings

My image is on the cover! THE COVER!!! Lisa and John's wedding is featured inside as well, what a fabulous event. The image on the cover was taken in an alley in downtown Pittsburgh, Lisa wanted an urban feel to the images with her bridesmaids.

Kate & Rick

Kate and Rick were married at St. Bernard's Church and held their reception at Rivers Club in One Oxford Centre.

Kate was a very calm and relaxed bride, so easy to shoot.

Having some fun with the fisheye.

Love the details.

Image by Craig, I like the way their arms are intertwined.

These two little girls were enamored with Kate, and she was kind enough to give them each a flower from her bouquet. What a bride!

I was freaking out when I saw the sun reflecting off of the building across the street from One Oxford Centre. I captured a few shots as quickly as possible because a few brief moments later it was gone.

Bonus! We found construction!

Obviously Craig had a great day because here is another one of his images!

Heading into the reception.

The Rivers Club is a fabulous location for a reception, it is very upscale and classy. And Emily, the coordinator for Rick and Kate, was wonderful.

I ran into my good friend David Burke who was shooting the 2pm wedding at St. Bernard's. Check out the post on his blog. He was also working with my good friend Bob Steranko from Videosaic.

Katie

Had a fabulous time shooting Katie's maternity session this afternoon. Katie and Mark were married in October of 2005 and have always been so supportive of my art and vision. Maybe the reason I love Katie so much is because she is so willing to try anything.

I love this shot by the window in my bedroom. We took some sexy images around my home before heading into town.

I wanted something different... something urban, for Katie. I didn't want flowing fabric or other traditional maternity props, I wanted a trendy, gritty feeling.

She was laughing at me because she thinks I'm crazy... and she's right!

Look at her fabulous shoes! Love 'em!

Katie and Mark are expecting a girl on November 18th. I wish both of you all the luck in the world!

For anyone who may be interested, maternity sessions are $475 and include a 6x6 album.
