Danielle & Guy
Danielle and Guy were married on the grand staircase at the Carnegie Museum and held their reception in the Music Hall Foyer. I posted about Danielle's Dad, Jerry, who passed away recently.
Danielle is a reporter for WMTW in Portland, Maine. She is absolutely stunning.
The groom.

While I was shooting the guys at the columns, I stepped in some very gross, unidentified muck. I would like to thank this usher pictured below because he took my shoe and cleaned it for me while I continued shooting. I thought it was a very gentlemanly gesture.
The veil was 10 yards long and was AMAZING!
I thought it was fun how Guy carried Danielle's veil.

This is Danielle's Mom, Shirley. I have tremendous respect for her, she is an amazing woman. Image by Pam.

Wow, would you look at this bride?? Image by Pam.

I was taking the shot above when Craig caught the shot below. Nice!

The details were amazing, Hepatic did a fabulous job.

This was the most amazing Hora I have ever witnessed, it was so much fun!
I love this image of Shirley up on the chair, it was wonderful to see her really enjoying herself.

I have series of images taken in this cab, but I love the ad on top. Perfect.

I should also mention that Danielle assembled (in my humble opinion) the BEST vendors in Pittsburgh for her wedding. Everything was fabulous. I think I may need to post separately about the band, they were phenomenal.

Christine & Danny
Had a fabulous engagement experience with Christine and Danny in Oakland on Thursday, we began on the carousel!

My wonderful friend Joanne shot with me (we have a blast shooting together), below is one of her images.
And this is why I like having her along... she will do anything for a shot, just like me!

Found this great dumpster/construction area near the Cathedral of Learning.
More construction paraphernalia.

This is a classic Joanne shot.
Joanne caught me in action!

Christine and Danny will be tying the knot in 2009.

Tara & Ralph
Tara and Ralph were married at Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park and held their reception at South Hills Country Club.
Their back yard was gorgeous, but not as gorgeous as Tara!

The family dog was not very happy that she had to wear a veil. But it sure was cute!
The groom!!

I had to post this image because I was messing with this groomsman all day long. When I first met him, he had a very serious look on his face (much like the one below) and he was wearing his sunglasses. I cautiously approached and asked him the question below. LOL, you had to be there.

I loved the details on their cake.
Ralph and his mom had the most awesome mother/son dance I have ever seen. They had choreographed their dance to Ice, Ice Baby. It was an absolute blast!!

Jerry Strauss
It is with great sadness that I'm posting about the passing of Jerry Strauss. Jerry was the owner of Strauss Shoes in Beaver and is also the father of Danielle, my bride that is getting married next weekend. The few weeks before a wedding can be so stressful, I can't imagine how difficult it must be for the Strauss family to plan a funeral and get ready for the wedding.
I want to offer my deepest sympathy to the Strauss family, they are wonderful people. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Stacie & Regis
Stacie and Regis were married at St. Bonaventure Parish and held their reception at Pittsburgh Marriott North in Cranberry. Look at this bride! Gorgeous!!

Stacie's matron of honor, Megan, and Stacie's brother Scott, were married last year. Click here to view their images. I had a great time with their family, it was nice to see everyone again.

We had a few moments alone outside at the Marriott.

I asked Stacie to give me "the look," and she knew exactly what I was looking for!

When I was shooting this I told Stacie that this was definitely a Heather shot because I love getting the bride and groom in unusual places. For the record, I don't typically speak in the third person, but it seemed appropriate for the situation.
