Both of these images were taken by Craig, but I think it's fun when he gets behind the scenes. That's me with the big lens. :))

Lisa & Cody

Lisa and Cody were married at Epiphany Church in Pittsburgh and held their reception at The Lemont.

I like this image because Lisa is a make-up genius. If you've seen some of my previous posts, then you know that I love make-up, and I was very impressed with Lisa's skills. I'm hoping that she'll give me a lesson someday. She looked amazing.

Cody before the ceremony, the red brick wall was awesome.

I was absolutely in love with her veil, this was taken moments before walking down the aisle. Image by Craig.

Beautiful soft, warm light... compliments of the sun and the Pittsburgh haze.

Did I mention that I loved her veil? It was so beautiful, and was actually her Mother's.

Can you guess what I love most about this shot? Her veil of course!

Danielle & George

Danielle and George were married at Trinity United Methodist Church in Youngstown, Ohio, and held their reception at The Georgetown.

I was really tangled in streamers after this shot was taken!

We went to Powers auditorium to take some images and everywhere I turned there was another amazing photographic opportunity.

I love brides all wrapped up in their veils!

It was so awesome the way the wind picked up Danielle's dress.

I don't usually post images like this, but these guys were so much fun!

Ella

My sweet baby girl turned four years old yesterday... I can't believe it. Seems like she was just born, why do they grow up so fast?? We had a small party with her friends and of course they had a great time.

I love this little girl more than anything in the universe, she is our absolute pride and joy.

Oh boy, here come the tears... I'd better move on to something else.

Megan & Scott

Megan and Scott were married at St. Bonaventure Parish in Glenshaw and held their reception at Pittsburgh's Grand Hall at The Priory.

Here is Megan in the Grand Hall before we left for the ceremony.

Bridal party fun!

Megan is such a classic beauty, I love this image of her.

This couple was so easy to photograph, they seemed so relaxed and happy.

This photograph was taken by Craig, who continues to produce amazing images every week.

First dance, I'm still lovin' that 85mm lens.

We stepped outside of a moment during the celebration to capture this image.

Kim & Doug

Kim and Doug held their ceremony and reception at the Grand Concourse in Station Square. Their wedding was very relaxed and intimate, and a pleasure to document.

Kim was so easy going, here she is just before the ceremony.

After the ceremony we went to Point State Park to have some fun.

As a result of the relaxed atmosphere, getting images like this was easy. I think that Kim should offer consulting services to other brides... I'm sure her message would be to just have fun!

I love architecture and blue skies.

If you know Doug, then this image makes perfect sense, and if you don't... well, let's just say he's a bridge guy.

I was so excited when we were shooting by the tracks and a train passed by.

I recommend all of Kim and Doug's vendors, especially Signature Desserts, yum!

Feedback

In an effort to continually improve my services, I recently sent a form to my 2006 brides that were married earlier this year. Below are just a few samples of the overwhelmingly positive feedback that I received.

Daniele & Kirby
Heather has an unparalleled level of understanding to what a bride needs on her wedding day. She also has a way about her that never makes her the focus of the wedding, yet she capturing details and moments most people would never notice. I was absolutely thrilled with Heather's work and couldn't possibly think of anything I wasn't 100% satisfied with!

Susan & Matt
Heather's personable nature made the process really fun and relaxed; the quality and quantity of photos are terrific, the timeliness with which the photos were made available to us was excellent. I would recommend Heather to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. We were delighted with her work - the photos are amazing, and she is great to work with.

Ana & Nick
I really appreciated how fast my proofs were on-line and that our family and friends could go look at them. I was extremely pleased with Heather's work. We love our pictures. I love my mini-album. The images are breathtaking.

Autumn & Chris
I chose Heather as my photographer because I knew I could trust her to take outstanding pictures during my wedding day. I also knew that she would be fun to work with before and during my wedding day. I have heard a lot of stories of photographers being bossy and rude and I knew that this would never happen with Heather. I have recommended Heather to all of the brides I know. My advice if you like Heather's work...book early.

Michele & David
Heather focused on us and listened to what we said we wanted in our photographs. Her photos are the best we've ever seen and she was on top of everything going on during the wedding. She got the details and "must have" shots but went above and beyond with her creativeness and artistic shots that really capture the day. Heather was the utmost professional and we couldn't be happier with her services and her pictures. We're so grateful we found her and when we're old and grey it's her beautiful pictures that we'll have to remember our special day.
