Jill & Adam

Jill and Adam were married at St. Bernard's Parish in Mt. Lebanon and held their reception at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. You may remember Jill and Adam from their urban style engagement session that I shot in June.

I knew that it was going to be a good day when I saw these as soon as I arrived.

I am truly speechless in regards to this wedding, Jill and Adam are so much fun, and Jill is one of those brides that photographers dream about.

While I was shooting the image above, Craig shot this.

The Pittsburgh Center for the Arts did an amazing job with the place settings, and I loved the colors!

First dance.

Look at the back of her dress, WOW!!!!!!

I love murals, but I especially like the way the little girl is "looking" at the camera while Summer and Tom are...well... let's just say, busy. :))

Summer & Tom

Summer and Tom were married at Ken Mawr Presbyterian Church in McKee's Rocks. I don't usually post many images of the groom, but Tommy was such a good model that I had to post two of them!

They held their reception at PNC Park and it was absolutely fabulous!

It was a strange day regarding the weather, it would pour down rain, and then the sun would peek through the clouds. It worked out really well as we were able to get some outdoor photographs at the park. I LOVE the reflection of her shoe in the puddle. Image by Craig.

I love my couples and I need to get photographs with them more often!

Craig caught the groom gazing at his bride.

Shot this with my new 85mm lens without flash... I LOVE the depth of field and the natural light.

I would like to also extend a huge thanks to Bambi Cantrell and Jerry Ghionis for teaching me to see things differently. They are the two photographers that I saw in Baltimore at the workshop I posted about last week. Spending the day with them literally blew my mind, it was such an amazing experience. And the lucky recipients of this knowledge are my couples!!

Jennifer & Cory

Jennifer and Cory held their wedding and reception at Oglebay Resort and Conference Center.

I loved Jennifer's engagement ring, and the ribbon around her bouquet was made from her Grandmother's wedding gown, which was made from a World War II parachute.

The happy couple!!

I love shooting into the sun for flare... mostly because it's so unpredictable and you're never sure what you are going to get. And in this case, the sun formed a beautiful veil over the newly married couple.

Jennifer was so prepared, she had parasols at the wedding for her guests to shade themselves from the sun.

Check back for more from Jennifer and Cory's wedding in a few days!

Audrey & John

Audrey and John were married at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church and held their reception at The Club at Nevillewood.

Here is the beautiful bride checking out her make-up for the first time. I posted about Jennifer Palermo a few weeks ago (she also did Susan's make-up), but it's worth talking about again, she does an amazing job and I highly recommend her (contact information below).

I really enjoy shooting in Greek churches, mostly because they are so bright!

I was absolutely in love with the bridesmaids shoes, I think I might buy a pair!

The amazing Club at Nevillewood, what an incredible venue.

Audrey and John were awesome, and up for anything... that's right, I managed to get them on the ground!!!

I work closely with my clients to build trust, which enables me to get images like this.

Loved the back of Audrey's dress.

If you keep up with my blog, then you know that I like these behind the scene shots. Image by Craig.

And of course the resulting shot.

Sunset on the roof.

I knew that I wanted to do something with this arch the minute that I arrived at the club.

I recommend all of Audrey and John's vendors, they did a great job!
