M&S - Slideshow

Click here to see Susan and Matt's slideshow. When I watch these slideshows, I'm almost moved to tears. I am so happy for my couples, and I'm so happy that I'm able to provide them with these priceless memories. I know I've said it before, but I absolutely love every minute of what I do.

And rather than post another image of the bride and groom, I thought I would post something a little different. In fact, I think that I should post different stuff more often. This is Susan getting her hair done, I really like it, and I'm not even sure why.

My husband

A few of my regular assistants haven't been available lately, so my sweet husband Craig has been helping me out at weddings. He's always been a great assistant... changing lenses, lugging my stuff around, etc. But what I was not prepared for was how well he would do as a second shooter. He's had no formal training, except under the master, :) and he continues to amaze me every weekend.

Here he is making sure that everyone gets enough attention.

And below are just a few of my favorites that he took last weekend.

I love, love, love, love this image... something about the angle, the crop, maybe the way her necklace is hanging... I don't know, I just love it!

Susan & Matt

What a gorgeous day!! Susan & Matt were married at Sacred Heart Parish in Shadyside.

I LOVED the colors, they were orange and pink and the way she coordinated everything was absolutely beautiful!

I can't say enough about the details of this wedding, it reminded me of something that would be seen in a bridal magazine. Susan is a professional events planner for CMU, and her organizational skills served her very well as not a detail was missed.

Susan & Matt held their reception at Armstrong Farms in Saxonburg, and it was AMAZING!!

Susan is such a classic beauty, she was the definition of a glowing bride.

Dinner was held in a tent (see above) and the dancing was held in the barn. This is their first dance.

I love this image of Susan and Matt at night in front of the barn... the dark blue sky is awesome.

I highly recommend all of Susan and Matt's vendors, they did an excellent job with their choices.

Autumn & Chris

Autumn and Chris were married at St. Bernard's Parish in Mt. Lebanon and held their reception at the fabulous Oakmont Country Club.

Groom just before the ceremony.

The groomsmen were.... hmm... let's say interesting. It was their idea to climb onto the scaffolding, and they also liked to skip and frolic around (I have images of that as well). Seriously, they were a lot of fun, thanks guys!

Autumn has the most amazing eyes.

And of course I LOVED her long veil!!

First dance.

Carly & H.P.

Carly and H.P. were married at College Hill Reformed Presbyterian Church, which is located on the Geneva College campus. They held their reception at the Timberhouse at Rolling Acres.

Fabulous light, amazing bride... how could I go wrong??

A moment between the new bride and groom. Image by Craig.

Both families were so wonderful and warm to me, I can't thank them enough. It was a very moving day... I was brought to tears when Carly's Dad spoke at the reception, they are a very close family. And thank you Belinda, you're the best!

Ana & Nick

Nick and Ana held their ceremony and reception at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpoint. Actually they had two ceremonies, a Christian one outdoors and a Persian one indoors. It was great! Look at this bride, isn't she gorgeous!

There isn't anything I won't do to get a great shot, in this image I'm laying on the ground while beer is spilling on me... and it was worth it!

Love the blue sky, we had great light!

First dance.

Jill & Adam - Engagement

I had a FABULOUS engagement session yesterday!!! We met Jill and Adam in the Strip District for an urban e-session and had a blast!! When we first arrived a few of Pittsburgh's finest were gracious enough to allow us to borrow their motorcycle.

Jill & Adam will be married on July 29th and I can't wait!! Not only are they gorgeous, but they are so much fun!

We were so lucky with regards to the weather, the sky looked ominous a few times, but we only saw a few minutes of rain. And then the sun came out and gave me this shot. Unbelievable.

Erin & Jeff

Erin and Jeff were married at Sisters of Saint Joseph Motherhouse Chapel and held their reception at Seven Oaks Country Club.

Erin was a very classy, very beautiful bride with a wonderful family. Jeff isn't too bad himself!

I loved the detailing on the back of her dress... along with her fabulous veil.

Runaway veil!!!

I think this image should be a postcard.

Look at all of these girls hanging on the groom! Image by Craig.
