Michele & David

Michele and David were married at the gorgeous Shadyside Presbyterian Church. Here is an image that I took through the door looking into the sanctuary.

Immediately after the ceremony, Michele getting into a 1929 Oakland... very cool. Image by Craig.

Look at that veil, I love it!!

This wedding was all about the details, Michele and Dave did an amazing job coordinating everything, it was beautiful!

They held their reception at Heinz History Center, which has a TON of places to take some really awesome images.

Angela & Dieter - Slideshow

Allow me to present you with a simple equation....

a little bit of extra time
+ trust in your photographer
= PHENOMENAL IMAGES

Click here to view Angela & Dieter's slideshow. I realize that laying on the ground isn't for every bride, but when you trust your photographer (read: do anything she says), your images will be amazing!!

Angela & Dieter - The wedding!!

I am speechless. Seriously, this wedding was AMAZING!!! First of all, I checked the weather before I left in the morning and it indicated that it was going to rain all day. But much to our delight, we never saw a drop.

Angela was a phenomenal bride... everything about her was absolutely stunning. And, as you'll see below, she would do anything!

Angela and Dieter were married at St. Mary of the Mount on Mt. Washington. I love this church as it is one of the few that actually has a ton of available light

The handsome groom.

Not sure what the bridesmaids were doing (they were a ton of fun), but my assistant caught this while I was shooting a few formals of the bride and groom.

Detail shot of Angie's beautiful gown in the limo.

Can you believe this bride?? She is AMAZING!!!! I asked her if she would lay on the ground and she didn't even think twice!! I think she would have done anything! Angie I love you!!

Then I asked Dieter to get in on the fun!

Here I am in action amongst the beautiful wisteria.

And here is the resulting shot.

Congratulations guys and thanks for an amazing day!!

Hibachi Fun

Had dinner the other night at Nakama on Carson Street with a fabulous group of Pittsburgh wedding photographers. This is my dear friend Joanne Bartone, she is a wonderful person AND an amazing photographer! Give her a call!

Onlookers Steve Barry from In-Vision Studio and Mike Purvis.

Why would I post about my direct competition? Because these guys are great and I would recommend any one of them. I strongly believe that there is a right photographer for every couple. I also feel that it is my responsibility to make sure that couples who inquire with me understand their choices... even if that means they choose another photographer.

Marilyn & Bill - Engagement

These two are the best!!!! We had a great time shooting their engagement session in, and around, Phipps Conservatory.

Marilyn & Bill will be married on September 2nd, and I can't wait!!!

We took a little break in the cafe when I noticed the green wall... too fun!

Whoa, she's gonna be a fabulous bride!!

They are a very affectionate couple, which made shooting them easy and fun!

On a side note, Marilyn's cousin Bob owns Videosaic, and is currently the only videographer that I recommend.
